Software Update: PlotWorks 7.0.2.463
PlotWorks 7.0.2.463 is now available.
This update is available to all customers with software maintenance coverage. This includes:
- Perpetual software licenses with active Software Maintenance contracts
- All subscription software licenses
In addition to minor bug fixes, the following enhancements have been implemented:
- New PDF interpreter supports wider variation of PDF files and improves application stability.
- New DWF/DWFx interpreter resolves several long-standing issues.
- New Media Size select list options inlcude "Auto Size" and "Auto Size with Border". See release notes for details.
- Output dialog now allows users to de-select auto-rotation option to force image orientation to be equal to WYSIWYP orientation as shown in viewer.
- ColorWave 600 Printer Interface now supports 42" media.
- Retention of Media Inventory and Network Polling entries in the event of ungraceful application termination.
The job ticket (.plp file) format has been changed to support additional features. Systems running version 7.0.2.455 and earlier will not be able to read .plp files created with version 7.0.2.456 and later. Please upgrade your systems in this sequence:
- Printer stations
- Traffic cop stations
- Local client stations
- Conversion stations
- Scan stations
Backwards compatibilty is maintained. Systems running version 7.0.2.456 and later are able to read .plp files created with version 7.0.2.455 and earlier.

This is a cumulative update. It includes all updates made available since the release of version 7.0.0.427. It is not necessary to install earlier patches or service packs. Please note that files removed or replaced during installation will not be archived. To revert to an earlier state PlotWorks must be re-installed.
This update may be applied to any of the following installation profiles:
- PlotWorks Server
- PlotWorks Client
- PlotWorks Convert
- PlotWorks EZ
The installer will perform a system check, and will not proceed unless the following conditions are true:
- The detected installation profile must match one of the profiles above
- The detected version must be 7.0.0.427 or later
- The current user must have local administrative privileges
- All web browsers must be closed
- All PlotWorks modules must be closed
