John C. Cronin III, CEO/Chairman

Photograph of John CroninJohn Cronin has a proven track record in leading information management companies. His entrepreneurial career started when he introduced CAD/CAM technology to New Market Products in Wayne, NY, a market leader in production tooling. He was responsible for pioneering a profitable Geographic Information Systems business for Day & Zimmermann, LLC, a private company in Philadelphia, PA ranked 115 in Forbes magazine's listing of the top 500 private companies. At Day & Zimmermann, Cronin won the annual "Quality Performance Award" for his efforts in growing a fledgling business into a profitable enterprise.

In 1995, Cronin founded Digital Paper Corporation, a market leader in the document distribution market. Digital Paper was recognized as one of Fortune magazine's Cool Companies-Hot Ideas and ranked 303 on the 2001 Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500, and 25 in Washington Techway's 2001 Fast 50.

In 2001, Cronin turned over the day-to-day management of Digital Paper to once again focus his efforts on an entrepreneurial venture. Cronin founded a global software distribution company, Global Engineering Solutions, a global provider of market leading engineering solutions. Cronin was introduced to PLP through his global customers, and the entrepreneur recognized a natural synergy.

Today, John Cronin recognizes the changing needs of AEC, and is leading the way with coming products that fill the Construction Information Management market gap, and provide his customers with new ways to serve AEC.
