LAS VEGAS, Nevada – May 12, 2005 – To meet reprographers' need for better use of existing assets, PLP Digital Systems introduced the OpCenter solution suite today at the International Reprographic Association’s 79th Annual Convention & Tradeshow in Las Vegas.

Designed to eliminate the guesswork from production management, OpCenter shows the status of every job on every printer at every location. Business owners and production staff can see, at a glance, what's working, what isn't, and what deadlines are at risk.

OpCenter's Job Board is a large, flat-panel monitor that hangs on the production floor of every location. It cycles through every office in the company to show job and printer status in each office. Employees can see the status of jobs that they and others are working on. Production managers at different locations can collaborate by exchanging jobs to run on under-utilized equipment.

In addition to the Job Board, OpCenter also offers the Dashboard. Designed for company executives, the Dashboard is web-accessible on a desktop or laptop computer, providing information and production control from any location. Executives get crucial production intelligence when they are in the office, at home or on the road.

OpCenter's Dashboard and Job Board enable staff and executives to:

• Track start time and finish time
• Track job and printer status on any PlotWorks® controller
• Track job status on any Repro Desk controller
• Perform real-time visual planning of the workday
• Monitor printer warnings including low toner and low media
• See printer failures including paper jams, hardware failures, and out-of-paper conditions
• Track media status by roll and paper size.
