FOR PRODUCTION WORKFLOW

NEW YORK, New York – May 8 , 2006 – National Reprographics, Inc., a market leading document management solution provider in the Northeast United States, has standardized on PLP's PlotWorks® and OpCenter™ products to streamline production workflow in and between five branch locations. PLP's products have enabled NRI to implement a best of breed approach to utilizing production hardware. "PLP enabled us to use the best components from several different vendors instead of having to be dependent on a single vendor," says Mike Heller, Vice President President of National Reprographics. "In addition, we utilize the OpCenter product so our production managers can more easily share work and visualize the available capacity in each of our offices."

NRI implemented a workflow model using an Océ 9800 scanner with PLP's 9800 stand alone scanner kit and a combination of KIP 8000's and KIP 7000's. PLP's PlotWorks solution manages the jobs and the devices. Every job in every location can be tracked using PLP's OpCenter product. Jobs and device status is tracked from web browsers on kiosks in production or from anyone's desktop.
